Below, you can read the official Privacy Statement of J&W Service B.V., hereafter referred to as J&W. This Privacy Statement has been drafted in accordance with legal stipulations such as the Personal Data Protection Act as well as, from 25 May 2018 onwards, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). J&W attaches great importance to your privacy. By means of this Privacy Statement, we declare that we will very carefully and confidentially treat the data of our relationship network. Personal data will only be processed in accordance with the abovementioned legal stipulations.
What does this Privacy Statement apply to?
This Privacy Statement provides information concerning the processing of personal and company data by or in the name of J&W, and only applies to the use of personal and company data regarding her clients and suppliers.
In what manner do we collect personal data?
J&W can receive your data in the following manners: Directly from you: by entering into an agreement with us when you contact us by email, phone, or through writing, for example. Via our own, initial acquisition: J&W is a commercial organisation which performs acquisition on many different prospects within the target groups of the various sector associations (such as the Koninklijke Metaalunie). We manage this partially-externally-acquired data for our own acquisition purposes only.
Which personal data do we collect?
J&W can process personal and company data because you use services and products by J&W. Depending on the contact options you use, J&W can process the following company data:
- Contact and account data — such as the first and last name, address information and postal code, landline and/or mobile number, and email address(es) you provided.
- Job titles of persons within organisations for the sake of correct addressing by us and our acquisition purposes.
- Payment and invoice data — in case you have entered into an agreement with us — such as for the financial handling of your bank account data, CoC number and VAT numbers.
Why do we collect your personal data?
- In the first place, J&W uses the collected personal and company data to fulfil the agreements made as thoroughly as possible. The collected personal and company data are also used for the internal administration of J&W.
- This includes:
- Maintaining and improving the contractual relationship with (potential) clients, the relationship network and suppliers with whom we collaborate, or improving the services and products by J&W.
- Providing information on the activities of J&W through sending informative digital newsletters.
- Handling complaints and compliments.
- Making offers for the sake of our acquisition purposes.
- Applying and adhering to all legal obligations deriving from the Personal Data Protection Act and the General Data Protection Regulation.
Who do we share your personal and company data with?
J&W can share your personal and company data with its own employees for acquisition purposes for the organisation. J&W may be obligated to share your personal and company data due to a legal obligation J&W is under and/or due to urgent requests by authorities. In the latter case, ISB has taken the necessary organisational and contractual measures to ensure the personal data will be processed and protected in accordance with European and Dutch law.
How long do we store your data?
Your data are stored for the required duration of the purpose for processing. Data will only be stored longer than this period if this is necessary and in accordance with the applicable laws, regulations or other legal norms of the European Union or a member state of the European Union. Your personal data will be stored for the duration of the following storage periods: Prospects: Two years after the lapse of the reason for data use. Clients: Five years after the agreement lapses.
How are your personal and company data protected?
J&W has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect all data from loss or any kind of wrongful handling. ISB has established a data protection policy, and, based on this, has taken physical, organisational and electronic measures.
What rights do you have?
As the person concerned, whose personal data are processed, you have the right to information (art. 15 GDPR), correction (art. 16 GDPR), erasure (art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (art. 20 GDPR).
Changes
We can change our privacy policy. We will adjust changes to our privacy policy in this Privacy Statement. We advise you to regularly study our current Privacy Statement to stay aware of possible changes.
